The IELTS exam consists of two main modules, each catering to specific purposes:

Academic Module

This module assesses a candidate's ability to comprehend and utilize academic language and is best suited for those aiming to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

General Training Module

The IELTS General test training is designed for individuals seeking work experience or planning to migrate to an English-speaking country. This module evaluates practical language skills required in everyday life, workplace environments, or immigration procedures.

The IELTS test comprises four distinct sections:

This section spans 30 minutes and encompasses four sections, featuring various audio recordings. Candidates are required to answer 40 questions based on the information presented.

Candidates are given 60 minutes to complete the reading section, which includes three passages. In this part, individuals must answer 40 questions that evaluate their reading comprehension skills.

The writing section lasts for 60 minutes and comprises two tasks. Task 1 spans 20 minutes and involves interpreting and summarizing visual information, such as graphs or charts. Task 2 lasts for 40 minutes and requires candidates to compose an essay on a given topic.

The speaking section is a face-to-face interview lasting approximately 11 to 14 minutes. It evaluates a candidate's spoken English skills through a conversation with an examiner, covering various topics, including personal experiences and opinions.
