SAT is a standardized test to get admissions into colleges and universities in many countries. Especially in UAE, it is a basic requirement for each student to appear in the SAT test while they are in grade 11 and 12.
The SAT test is intended to ascertain students’ readiness for college. The current SAT takes 3 hours 50 minutes to finish with essay. Scores on the SAT range from 400 to 1600, combining test results from two 800-point sections: Mathematics, and Critical reading and Writing.
Section 1: Reading Comprehension
Reading Test consists of 52 questions and a time limit of 65 minutes.
Section 2: Writing and Language Test
The Writing and Language Test consists of 44 questions and a time limit of 35 minutes.
Section 3: Mathematics – No Calculator
• No Calculator section has 20 questions (15 multiple choice and 5 grid-in) and lasts 25 minutes.
Section 4: Mathematics – With Calculator
• Calculator section has 38 questions (30 multiple choice and 8 grid-in) and lasts 55 minutes.

Students in grade 11 is the right time to sit for the SAT exam. In United States, the SAT happens 7 times in a year and for international students 5 times a year. SAT happens on OCT/DEC/MAR/MAY/AUG.

How is the SAT scored ?
The SAT is scored out of 1600. The highest composite score for the SAT is 800+800, or 1600. The average score is 1000. Your section scores are the individual scores for the two main sections of the SAT: English (Reading/Writing) and Math (No Calculator and Calculator sections).
Who administer the SAT test and how to register ?
SAT administered by Collegeboard.org, 5 times in a year for the International students. SAT happens on Oct/Dec/Mar/May/Aug. Students can create an account in the official website and register for the preferred test date.
